Description

The 11 th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Teledyne Controls LLC, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) Only one responsible source is capable of responding due to the fact that Teledyne Controls has the unique eTOLD application that is needed in the C-37A and C-37B aircraft. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334511 with a size standard of 750 employees. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice. NOTE: If documents are sent via e-mail, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by contacting the Contracting Officer at julia.a.johnson6.civ@mail.mil. No solicitation is available and telephone request for information will not be taken.
