Description
Staff Dialogic Skills Training Training is being sought to improve staff communication and engagement skills, to provide coaching for program fidelity, to establish and implement dialogic learning teams to create a dynamic learning environment and sustain organizational change, to increase operational efficiencies, and to improve offender outcomes. This will be done by providing in house staff skills training, development, and coaching in effective communication using dialogic principles (such as voice, listening, suspending judgment, and respect), and the use of dialogic learning teams to implement and sustain organizational change. The Contractor shall assume that personnel have various levels of communication and engagement skills training and knowledge. The specific objectives are to: 1. Procure in-house training and coaching services for leadership and staff designated as dialogic change practitioners, to develop and improve staff communication and engagement skills using dialogic principles to assist the Agency in fully achieving its reorganization goals across the Agency's functional areas, including the elimination of a silo mentality. 2. Train, develop and implement dialogic learning teams that will sustain the organizational change, create a dynamic learning environment, increase operational efficiencies, and improve offender outcomes. CSOSA is seeking training that uses curricula which has previously been successfully used with correctional professionals in a correctional environment, to effectuate change and improve organizational communication and engagement based on dialogic principles. The Contractor shall provide all curricula customization, required tools and materials necessary to train and coach staff. (Customization includes incorporating the CSOSA logo and CSOSA-specific materials.) Additionally, the Contractor shall measure the staff's pre- and post-training knowledge base for each training course to measure the success of the training courses, to prepare various reports to include a base year final report, and to develop an assessment implementation report (option year 1). For each training course, the Contractor will facilitate the course with a trainer-to-participant ratio of no more than 25:1.
