- Performance Work Statement THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. A SUBSEQUENT SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT MAY FOLLOW. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS AN ADEQUATE RESPONSE TO ANY FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENT. Joint Base Charleston, located in Charleston, SC seeks a Provider/Offeror to provide provide qualified personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, labor, travel and other items and services necessary to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on all Access Card Control Systems (ACCS) located at the Air Base and Weapons Station Fitness Centers. Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) shall require an annual site visit to inspect/service and perform required software application updates to installed ACCS equipment, cleaning DVRs, Dell Computers, 29 Cameras Cleaned/re-focused as needed, inspect electric door lock actuator and wall card scanners. Corrective Maintenance and repairs shall be required as needed throughout the performance period to include equipment replacement on items as needed due to electrical, software or mechanical malfunctions that cause the ACCS not to work as designed. All electrical door hardware installed by Smartnet to include wiring, actuator and panic hardware assembly shall be repaired as needed. The contractor shall provide telephone call in service technical support and/or on line assistance when system malfunctions can be handled in this manner. The contractor shall accomplish work based on established industry practices and standards for customer access card systems in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision. Statement of Capabilities are limited to 5 pages, and should demonstrate capability to provide the requested items. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION OR "SOURCES SOUGHT" SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. INFORMATION IS TO BE PROVIDED ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS.
