Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 hereby provides notice of its intent to award a Sole Source, firm fixed price contract to Vicon Motion Systems Inc, 7388 S. Revere Pkwy, Centennial, CO 80112. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 813.106. A Single Source Justification has been prepared. The contract will be for Vicon Motion to provide motion capture equipment for research in assessing performance of the Osseo integrated implant system in amputee patients for the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center. Inclusive of associated camera equipment, delivery, parts, training, and customer service to connect to the current Vicon System. NAICS code: 541715, Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology) (SBA Size Standard 1,250 Employees). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than COB September 15, 2018. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 19 will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with Responses to the Intent to Sole Source for Vicon Motion Systems in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed to Tica Danford-Leaf by email at Tamanica.danford-leaf@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support this product line.
