Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to WaveMark, Inc. located 300 Baker Ave Ste. 207 Concord, MA 01742. The contractor provides services for hardware maintenance, software maintenance, interface maintenance, database administrator support services, and support services for all WaveMark Cath Lab inventory management systems. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A firm fixed price contract with one option year is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. Justification for this sole source procurement IAW FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. NAICS Code 519190/$27.5M. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. The Government will consider responses received by 12:00pm Eastern on September 17, 2018. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to Andres.cepeda@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
