Description

VA LONG BEACH COMMUNITY LIVING CENTER, VA LONG BEACH MEDICAL CENTER, LONG BEACH, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA This project will replace a seismic deficient facility located at the Long Beach Healthcare System (LBVAMC) main campus. New Community Living Center (CLC) facility will be three-levels, plus partial basement, that total 181,000 GSF. The new facility will meet LEED Silver certification requirements. The site of the project is the VA Long Beach Health Care System located at 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach CA 90822. This project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per UFC 4-010-01. This construction contract is estimated to be between $100,000,000 to $250,000,000 This an UNRESTRICTED procurement and will be conducted under NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial & Institutional Bldg Construction. The size standard for this code is $36,500,000. Contract Clause No. FAR 52.219-4, entitled, Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns will be applied to this procurement. The acquisition will use FAR Part 15 Contract by Negotiation procedures for award. All offerors are advised that this project may be delayed, cancelled or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation and/or final award process.
