The answers provide clarification only and DO NOT constitute an amendment to the solicitation. Question: When you say, "Separate Dining Room", do you mean an separated by 4 walls from the living room, or does a designated dining area with a dining room light separate from the living room area qualify? Some apartments have separate dining areas but are open to the living room. ANSWER - The floor plan provided by the apartment complex must show a "dining area". It doesn't have to be separated by 4 walls, it can be an open floor plan concept. It is unacceptable, however, to place a table and 4 chairs in the living area, where it was not intended to be, or have a light placed in the space, where it normally does not belong. It is also not acceptable to have to walk from the kitchen area, through a living space, to the dining area. The kitchen area and dining area should be adjacent to each other. I believe most floor plans that have been provided in the past have actually shown a dining area, so that is what she needs to provide. Question: Will you accept options with plank style flooring in the living room as new styles of apartments sometimes don't come with carpet? Usually in these kinds of apartments, the bedroom still has carpet. ANSWER - Yes, we will accept plank style flooring, as long as it is clean, like new, with no tears, burns, etc.
