Description
SOW MILES EQUIPMENT The BUY AMERICAN ACT APPLIES to this REQUEST FOR INFORMATION THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY REFER TO ATTACHMENT FOR DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS 1. SCOPE. This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements to equip the 351st BA TS with the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System I and II to equip 100 Pararescueman Trainees and Instructors. This system will be utilized to simulate Force-on-Force exercises at home station and in combat training centers. This system will provide real-time casualty effects necessary for tactical engagement training in direct fire force-on-force training scenarios. 2. BACKGROUND. The contractor shall provide the IWS2 system as well as instruction in order to provide a realistic force-on-force training and non-live fire training exercises at the 351st Battlefield Airmen Training Squadron. This equipment will be utilized to simulate the tactical application of M4, M249, and M240 weapons during land warfare maneuver exercises. 3. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS. 3.1. Attachments. 3.1.1. MILE IWS2 Transit Case 4. REQUIREMENTS. 4.1. The contractor shall provide: 4.1.1. The IWS2 M16/A2/M4 to equip 105 personnel as listed in Simulation System, ISW, M16A2/M4 Typical Transit Case Equipment 4.1.2. The IWS2 M240 to equip 10 personnel as listed in the Simulation System, IWS, M240 Typical Transit Case Equipment List 4.1.3. The IWS2 M249 to equip 10 personnel as listed in the Simulation System, IWS, M249 typical Transit Case Equipment List 4.1.4. The I-Miles UCD Controller Gun for all generations of MILES to equip 10 personnel 4.1.4.1. A 3 Day Class that entails equipment usage, maintenance, storage, and training use. 4.1.4.2. An equipment warranty of no less than 1 year for the IWS2 system 4.1.4.3. Maintenance of IWS2 Equipment twice a year for 3 years
