- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The purpose of this special notice is to provide the intent to sole source to Virginia restaurant Services, INC. for Cleveland Cook Chill Equipment Maintenance Services at the Hampton VA Medical Center (VAMC), in Hampton, Virginia. This is a mission cook chill system that houses rations or food preparation support for the VISN 06 hospital network. This requirement will be awarded under authority provided un FAR 13.106-1 (b) Soliciting from a single source, and shall be awarded as a firm-fixed price base plus two (2) option year periods. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310: Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment; standard size $7.5 Million. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. If competitive procedures are not used it is estimated that an award will be issued by 10/1/2018. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to wayne.neyland@va.gov. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted so that they are received at wayne.neyland@va.gov no later than 5:00 pm Eastern 9/21/2018.
