Description

The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following: 1. The drawings identify select areas for soil removal to the 6 depth while in the RFIs the response states the entire area beneath the West Wing.   The quantity of material to be removed is dramatically different.   Which response should we use for the proposal? The CAD is only for the sub-basement west crawlspace which is the only area where the soil removal will need to take place. 2.   In the RFIs, one question was a two part question. It was asked: Would the removed soil need to be replaced?   Would river sand be acceptable?   The response was Yes.  Please have someone clarify if we are expected to replace all the removed soil. River sand will be acceptable after all contaminated soil is removed from the sub-basement west crawlspace area.
