- Questions & Answers Can we identify the contractor currently performing this work? Answer: The current contractor is Eagle Home Medical Corp. Can we identify the current contract number? Answer: The current contract number is VA261-17-P-1628. You can find additional information on this by going to FPDS.gov. Was there any thought to utilizing the WSNC BPA for the very same work? Answer: The BPAs created by the WSNC are not mandatory to use. However, the prices were checked during the market research phase and it has been determined that it is in the government s best interest to post a new solicitation on FBO.gov. The RFQ is only open for (3) Day (due on the 20th), this is insufficient time for vendors to evaluate, source, and price this work, can you please extend the submission date to allow provisions for a site visit to inspect the site, pad, and surrounding areas to verify NFPA Compliance? If relegated to (3) three days, this provides an unfair advantage to the incumbent? Answer: The due date will not be extended. This requirement is for delivery of oxygen to government owned tanks only. A telemetry isn t necessarily required if the awardee can conduct visual checks to ensure the appropriate levels are maintained. There will not be any replacement tanks installed on the premises. Can you please confirm the Contract Start date as 1 OCT? Please note a Technical Inspection (NFPA Compliance) must be conducted as well as a Distribution (safe delivery) conducted PRIOR to delivering? Answer: Contract start date in 1 October 2018, however the first delivery may not be needed on 1 October 2018 Could you please inform prospective vendors why this procurement is only one year in duration? The RFQ states on Page 2 of 6 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southern Nevada Healthcare System, 5406 E. El Campo Grande, Las Vegas, NV 89115 is seeking Delivery of Liquid Bulk Oxygen to Government Owned Tanks for a Base Plus 4 Option Periods, yet there is only two CLINs 0001 & 0002? Please confirm if this is a 1-year contract as identified by the SOW or a Base Plus 4 Options in the RFQ? Answer: This contract will be for one base year and four option years. There are only two CLINS because they are the same in each of the option years. You are required to submit pricing based on those two CLINS that cover the base and the four option years.
