- Room Sketch This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) audio/visual equipment system for Waesche Hall Classroom, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 70Z03918PRFQFD001 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Details: Vendor shall provide and install an auto-switching twisted pair interface in each lectern that will allow end-users to present PowerPoint®, Excel®, Word®, PDF documents, and photos on the room display from their PC laptop or lectern mounted PC. Provide and install one receiver for each display and the projector that will convert twisted pair video and control signals to HDMI and RS-232 control for the projector and display(s). Provide and install one new audio/video matrix switcher that will allow routing of four (4) source devices to four (4) destination devices in this system. This Switcher is capable of displaying different content in each room. The displays and projector will show identical content, either as individual content in each room or identical content in the combined space. This switcher is centrally located in the equipment rack. In each divisible space (total of three spaces), install one (1) new 100" diagonal writeable projection screen using commercial grade mounting equipment. Secure the new screen to the wall using manufacturer-approved hardware. Install two (2) new 55" diagonal LED Displays using commercial grade mounting equipment. Secure the new displays to the ceiling using manufacturer-approved hardware. Each space will be able to function independently of the other two, or be able to function from one lectern displaying curriculum on all projectors/monitors. Supplies (X3): · One ultra-short throw laser projector · 100" diagonal projection surface whiteboard · Two ceiling-mounted displays · A lectern with storage space · One HDMI input from lectern-mounted PCs · One HDMI guest laptop connection (automatically selected when someone connects a device) · Lectern-mounted microphone · Ceiling speakers for media audio and microphone amplification Additionally: · New equipment rack · Control and matrix routing equipment for AV system · One Blu-ray player for entire space Vendor will purchase, deliver, install, and test the entire system in the classroom. The proposal must include a design plan, equipment listing, and include the cost of all equipment and installation/labor. Inspection and acceptance is to be at the destination with delivery. Install date TBD. New equipment only, no remanufactured and or "gray market" items will be accepted. The USCGA will provide servers and traditional server software necessary to run audiovisual equipment. The room dimensions are approximately 65 feet by 88 feet, approx. 5,800 square feet. Audio visual installation experience. 2. Experience with installation of smart classrooms and lecture capture systems at colleges and universities. 3. References demonstrating customer satisfaction.
