Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make the appropriate acquisition decision(s) and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541350. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 is seeking a source to perform Designated Operator UST /AST visual inspections of Government Owned Underground Storage Tank (UST), Aboveground Storage Tank (AST), and peripheral equipment for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHCS) located at 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. Contractor will perform monthly visual inspections of all equipment identified and report / document all findings to the Government. Contractor will perform all services in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws / regulations. Please see attached draft statement of work (SOW) for pertinent information which details the Government s needs. All interested parties who can provide SPCC visual inspection services shall provide a written response to this notice and include the following: Company name, Address, Point of contact, Phone, fax, and email, DUNS number, Cage Code, Tax ID Number, Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business [NOTE: If you are a SDVOSB or VOSB, you must submit your certification from the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/)], Provide a copy of your company s current Representations and Certifications from www.sam.gov, Provide evidence your firm can provide the requested service, to include past and/or current contracts for the same services; licenses / certifications required to perform this service; and any other compelling evidence to help the Government determine your company s capabilities; and Provide a copy of the required Designated UST Operator certification issued by the International Code Council (ICC) for all employees that will be performing the required services. This is a firm requirement for the forthcoming contract. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued and/or requirements change.
