- Loose Equipment List REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI): THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price order to a single source, Sutphen Corporation, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A), Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, for open market items. Open market items are loose equipment to be supplied and mounted on limited sourced Sutphen Monarch C ustom Ladder Apparatus (procured under GSA Schedule 23V 190-01). List of Loose Equipment attached. Costs associated with separately procuring the loose equipment would result in duplication of procurement and logistic costs to the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. The Government will consider responses received within 3 days of issuance of this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a full and open competitive procurement or a small business set aside competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this announcement.
