- Description
- 2019 Air Force Industry Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Commercialization Readiness Program (CRP) Technology Interchange Meetings (TIM) MEETINGS : The Air Force will work with major defense contractors to host a series of technology interchange meetings between February and November 2019 at major contractor facilities. As with similar prior meetings, the Air Force transition support program will provide each major contractor hosting a meeting with a data mining search capability to identify small businesses with Phase II SBIR/STTR projects of potential interest as solutions to the major contractor technology-based needs. In similar fashion to other Air Force CRP meetings, facilitation of one-on-one sessions between small businesses and the host major contractor will occur. The AF team will help facilitate these one-on-one sessions. Major contractors with interest in participating in this activity must contact the listed POC below by email to express their company's desire to participate. This announcement is an expression of interest only and does not obligate the government in any way. Response to this request is voluntary and will not have influence on any future acquisitions. RESPONSE: Please respond, to the appropriate point of contact, no later than October 01, 2018, with your request to host one of the planned meetings. FOLLOW UP: Once all responses have been compiled, the AF SBIR/STTR CRP outreach team will respond with how to proceed. You will be asked to identify a POC that will support the meeting throughout the process, which business unit(s) will be involved, and 3 prioritized possible meeting dates. RESTRICTIONS: Interested companies must be major contractors and be U.S. defense companies ONLY. In order to attend, you must be either a DoD employee or a DoD contractor with a valid DD Form 2345, Military Critical Data Agreement. LIMITATIONS: Due to resource constraints, and our expectations for responses to this announcement, we anticipate having to select from a number of responding companies to participate in these activities. For complete information on the Air Force /Industry SBIR/STTR Commercialization Readiness Program (CRP) Technology Interchange Meetings, including the selection requirements, please see the attached document, entitled, "2019 AF Industry SBIR STTR CRP TIM Fact Sheetv1". Please contact the following to express your interest in hosting and participating in these activities or for additional information or clarification; government SBIR/STTR CRP POC: Mr. James Sweeney, (937) 656-9869, james.sweeney.6@us.af.mil.
