Description

The U.S. Secret Service intends to negotiate a firm fixed price commercial purchase order on a sole source basis with Motorola Solutions, Inc. for 3 RNC/ 1 WNG Extended Support. The product is proprietary to Motorola. The government intends to negotiate a purchase order for a base year and one year option to cover the USSS requirement. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Any response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Government and show clear and convincing evidence that another source is capable of meeting the Government's requirements and that competition of the requirement would be advantageous to the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Submission of information does not guarantee that this requirement will be become a competitive procurement. Any response to this notice must be submitted to the contracting officer identified herein no later than Monday, September 24, 2018 at 9:00am Eastern. After which time, a sole-source purchase order with Motorola Solutions will be issued.
