- Justification and Approval NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron, Cannon AFB, New Mexico intends to award a sole source purchase order to Superior Float Tanks. Superior Float Tanks will be providing (1 ea) Quest Float Suite w/ Filtration Engine, (1 ea) Quest Float Suite Installation Services, (1 ea) Shipping,(1 ea) Star Light Ceiling, (1 ea) Premium USP Pharmaceutical Epsom Salt (2450 pounds), (1 ea) Shipping Premium USP Pharmaceutical Epsom Salt, (1 ea) Computer to control unit, (1 ea) Liquid Chemical Automatic Doser, (1 ea) Start up kit, (1 ea) Flat White Paint for unfinished cladding. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 25 September 2018. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this notice is 25 September 2018 at 9 AM Mountain Daylight Time.
