The primary Government interest is in technologies that can achieve Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 via ground testing and be incorporated in space-based flight experiments beginning in the year 2022 timeframe; AFRL/RV is also interested in less mature technology concepts that might be game-changers revolutionizing SatNav PNT in the longer range. Specific tasks include design, development, analysis, fabrication, integration, characterization, prototyping, testing/experimentation, and demonstration of hardware and software products. For specific signal concepts, AFRL/RV is interested in end-to-end systems demonstration and test, including modeling and simulation, prototype transmitters, control software, and user receivers.
