Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) to Change Healthcare Technologies, LLC 5995 Windward Pkwy Alpharetta, GA, 30005-4184, for the procurement of a brand name McKesson Radiology System. This order for the brand name McKesson Radiology System, to be performed within 90 days of contract award, will be placed on a sole source basis with Change Healthcare Technologies as the following circumstance in FAR 13.106-1(b) applies: only one source is capable to provide the services required at the level of quality required because Change Healthcare Technologies / McKesson is proprietary to McKesson items. The Logistics Department at the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend HCS in Harlingen, TX currently utilizes a McKesson system. The substitution of any other manufacturer other than brand name will not guarantee interoperability and cause duplication of cost to the Government. Delivery schedule will be discussed prior to issuing the contract award. The anticipated award date is September 27, 2018. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, that all responsible sources and interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting technical data for this requirement data within 4 calendar days of this notice posting (no later than September 25, 2018, by 08:00 AM CST, to Michael Simington, via email at Michael.Simington@va.gov which shall be considered by the agency.
