Description

The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties of the intent to solicit a multiple award, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity cost-type contract to provide specific touch labor to support non-nuclear, non-SUBSAFE work onboard U.S. Navy vessels at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF. Labor categories include: Shipfitter Mechanic, Sheet Metal Mechanic, Marine Electrician, Electronics Technician, Shipwright, Plastic Fabricators/Woodcrafting, Painter, Sandblaster, Painter/Sandblaster, Temporary Service Sheet Metal Mechanic, Laborer, Fabric Worker, Firewatch/Tankwatch, Inside Machinist, Marine Machinery Mechanic, Pipefitter, Insulator Mechanic, Temporary Service Pipefitter, Temporary Service Technician, and Welder. This will be a follow-on contract for the previous touch labor contract. Previous touch labor contracts are: N32253-16-D-0001 N32253-16-D-0002 N32253-16-D-0003 N32253-16-D-0004 N32253-16-D-0005 Tentative solicitation release date is scheduled for 11 October 2018. All questions will be addressed during the Q&A phase of the solicitation.
