Description

This requirement was reposted to add the bases for award. ADDENDUM TO PROVISION 52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (OCT 2014) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Evaluation Factors Technical Capability Past Performance Price (b) Basis for award. This acquisition utilizes FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government will utilize a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method to select the offer which provides the best value to the Government. The Government intends to award a single contract to the offeror who is deemed responsible in accordance with the FAR, as supplemented, whose offer conforms to all contract requirements, and provides the lowest priced, technically acceptable response to satisfy the requirements. Trade-offs between cost/price and non-cost/price factors is not permitted. Responses that fail to address all the requirements set forth in the RFQ and PWS will be rejected. All evaluation factors other than price, when combined are approximately equal to price.
