- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, North Carolina, intends to issue a firm­ fixed price, sole source purchase order to Frontier Communications Corporation, 180 S.Clifton Ave, Rochester, NY. This non-competitive action is being issued by the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, NC for the period October 1, 2018, through September 30, 2019. The Federal Correctional Complex has a need for local and long distance telephone services. The Government believes that Frontier Communications Corporation is the only vendor that will satisfy the agency requirement with continuing telephone services. This is not a request for · competitive quotes. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received within 5 working days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
