Description

NAVSUP Weapon System Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material and facilities, as may be required, to repair and / or modify the items as specified in the attachment to this notice. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a five year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). The Government intends to solicit for the repair of the National Stock Number (NSN)s listed in the attached document. The Government does not possess, and cannot provide, the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the listed items. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 5 days after the date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source is required. NAVSUP WSS will not delay award while source approval is pending.
