Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), contract number N00421-17-G-0001 to Mercury Defense Systems (MDS), 10855 Business Center Drive, Building A, Cypress CA 90630-5252. The requirement(s) will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” This order will support activities related to one full Airborne Early Warning Interoperability Simulator (AEIS) unit to be developed, delivered, integrated and tested for ESTEL in support of E-2D Counter Electronic Attack Program. This notice is published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Place of Performance: Patuxent River, MD
