Description

In reference to Pre-solicitation notice N00383-18-Q-096H, this is a Sources Sought Notice for the Repair of Navy Weapon System F-18 Component - Synopsis for NAVSUP WSS to add the FMS accounting line to the Parker Hannifin LTC N00383-15-D-008H. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to modify existing repair LTC N00383-15-D-008H with only one Source (Parker Hannifin) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The modification will be to add the FMS accounting line to the Navy LTC for the support of FMS repairs. The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the items. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to the notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after the publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is requir3ed. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detail3ed in the NASUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair.
