Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Networking Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to negotiate sole source commercial service with Getinge, located at 1777 East Henrietta Road, Rochester NY, 14623. Vendor to provide service maintenance for various (2460RD Clean/Disnf, Sonic S, 433HC-E Sterilization, 8668 G1 Clean/Disnf, Vaxjo, 9125 Washer Clean Disnf, 9100 HC, Cas30C Generator, CAS45 Generator, LRG4800AB RO Unit RO Modernization) Getinge equipment including scheduled preventive maintenance following locations: Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center, North Carolina. The period of performance for this procurement shall be for 12 months with 4 option periods. This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest by sending capability statements in reference to this requirement no later than 1200 p.m. EST., September 28th, 2018 to: amarlia.vanburen@va.gov. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost of obligation to the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
