Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Iliana Healthcare System VISN 12, 1900 East Main Street Danville Illinois 61832, under the authority of FAR 13 (41 U.S.C. 1901 and implemented for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2)), intends to request quotation on a sole source basis with Steris, Corporation to facilitate the maintenance and ongoing functionality of the VA Iliana Healthcare facility Steris V-Pro Sterilizer equipment. NAICS 811219, with a size standard of $20500000 applies. Steris, Corporation is a provider of maintenance services for the Steris V-PRO Sterilizer equipment currently deployed at the above-mentioned facility. Steris, Corporation will provide preventative maintenance and repair to ensure continued facility use and to prevent avoidable downtime. Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, supervision, material, test equipment, and emergency services, including transportation cost necessary to perform preventative maintenance and unlimited emergency repairs on the Steris V-PRO Sterilizer at the VA Iliana Health Care System, for the period of one year after Date of award. Services are to be provided in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this contract. Any respondent to this notice must show that they have the capability to provide a program of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the Steris V-PRO Sterilizer equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 pm (Noon) CDT on Sunday, September 30, 2018. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
