- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE NOI-RML-E-9262018 NAICS - 811219 This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Illumina INC. For an annual service agreement on: Product Care MiSeq® Comprehensive Plan, period of performance of 10/27/2018 to 10/26/2019 - S/N: M04974 Product Care NextSeq® 500 Comprehensive Plan, period of performance of 10/13/2018 to 10/12/2019 S/N: NB501780 This service agreement is to keep equipment in good working condition for use in support of ongoing research that is taking place in the Laboratory of Infectious Diseases (LID) to investigate influenza and respiratory diseases. Place of delivery is Bethesda, MD 20892. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 1901 (a) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All responsible sources that could provide comparable services may submit a capability statement that will be considered by email (subject line to reference NOI-RML-E-9262018 to Jesse Weidow at jesse.weidow@nih.gov, by 5:00 pm eastern standard time Monday, October 08, 2018. All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
