- INDUSTRY DAY NOTICE Description: M870A2-S Medium Heavy Equipment Trailer (MHET) Suspension Upgrade - Industry Day. Purpose: Program Manager, Medium and Heavy Tactical Vehicles (MHTV), Program Executive Officer Land Systems, Quantico, VA, will host an Industry Day conference on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM ET to provide an overview of the M870A2-S MHET Suspension Upgrade program and anticipated RFP. The M870A2-S MHET Industry Day will provide industry with a description of the M870A2-S, operational requirements, physical design, acquisition strategy, and business strategy. Industry will be provided the opportunity to schedule a one-on-one meeting with the M870A2-S Program Team, not to exceed 30 minutes, to be scheduled at available times on the afternoon of October 24, 2018 between 1:30 PM ET to 4:30 PM ET. Additional time blocks will be made available to accommodate vendors seeking one-on-one meetings. This Industry Day follows the recently released Request for Information (RFI) M67854-18-R-0081 posted on Aug 22, 2018. It is the Government's intent at this time to encourage Government/Industry exchanges of information to improve understanding of Government requirements and increase efficiency in future proposal preparations; thereby, enhancing the Government's ability to obtain quality supplies and services at a reasonable and affordable cost. Requirement: For specifics on the requirement, see the posted RFI M67854-18-R-0081 on the Government Point of Entry ( www.fbo.gov ) Federal Business Opportunities. Industry Day Meeting Location: Transportation Demonstration Staging Area (TDSA), 137 Old US 1 Hwy, Stafford, VA 22554. Conference Information: Attendance to this Industry Day is recommended for all vendors interested i n M870A2-S MHET Suspension Upgrade production. Due to space limitations, interested parties are requested to limit their attendance to no more than three (3) representatives per company. The Industry Day will be UNCLASSIFIED with information that may become ITAR restricted, and, therefore, attendance is limited to U.S. citizens and representatives of U.S. companies. (Note: U.S. citizens who represent foreign interests assume a foreign national status and will not be admitted). Pre-registration is required NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM ET on October 19, 2018. Check-in for the Industry Day begins at 08:00 AM on October 24, 2018, followed by presentations beginning at 9:00 AM. Please provide appropriate identification when you arrive. Identification shall be verified by a Common Access Card or U.S. Passport. REGISTRATION INFORMATION: If interested in attending the Industry Day, please send an e-mail, with the Subject line "M870A2-S Industry Day", to Mr. Todd Ingold at todd.ingold@usmc.mil and Mr. Mohamed Elmi at mohamed.elmi@usmc.mil. Individuals interested in attending industry day must submit the following information no later than 3:00 PM ET on October 19, 2018: Company Name; Company Address and size and socio-economic status if applicable; Name of Attendees; Attendees Phone Number; Attendees Title; and Attendees E-mail address. In response to your email, you will receive information detailing the registration process and logistics of the Industry Day. No phone calls will be accepted. Prime contractors interested in scheduling one-on-one Government/Industry appointment need to send an email to Mr. Todd Ingold at todd.ingold@usmc.mil and Mr. Mohamed Elmi at mohamed.elmi@usmc.mil no later than the close of business on October 22, 2018. Participation is limited to no more than three (3) industry representatives (potential prime and teammates) per meeting. Identify the subject as "Industry Day 1-on-1 Exchange". A confirmation email will be sent that will include directions and points of contact for assistance. The Industry Day does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Attendance at the Industry Day is voluntary and is not required to propose to subsequent solicitations (if any) on this topic. Government will not provide reimbursement for costs incurred to participate in this Industry Day. All updates will be posted via the FEDBIZOPPS only.
