MATERIALS LIST N0017819Q0003 SF18 STATEMENT OF WORK This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N0017819Q0003 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. Please refer to the attached Statement of Work for details. The requiring office is the Naval Surface Warfare Division Dahlgren, Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA). There is an urgent requirement for the UPS device to provide uninterrupted electrical power during announced and inclement weather power failures. On several occasions, there have been instances where unreliable power has resulted in data loss and a significant negative impact to position critical systems. Most importantly, the controlled area must be on an UPS and/or manned when there is significant power failure. The UPS hardware must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed. The requested brand name products and support represents the minimum requirements of the Government. Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination to COMBAT DIRECTION SYSTEMS ACTIVITY DAM NECK 1922 REGULUS AVENUE VIRIGINIA BEACH VA 23461-2097 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 17 October 2018, no later than 4:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 1 November 2018.
