SOURCES SOUGHT Pest Control Services for Hill Air Force Base and Utah Test and Training Range SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Synopsis Number: Notice Type: FA8224-18-R-PESTCONTROL Sources Sought/Industry Day/Site Visit Solicitation number subject to change Synopsis: An Industry Day/Site visit will be held at Hill Air Force Base, UT on 9 October 2018 at 10:00. Each company may send a maximum of two individuals. Interested Vendors must contact Alysha Caldwell at alysha.caldwell@us.af.mil (801)775-3843 No Later Than (NLT) 4 October 2018 by 12:00 Mountain Time with the following information for each attendee: 1: Name 2: Driver's License number and state of issue 3: State if you currently have or do not have base access Any questions prior to the site visit must be submitted in writing to Alysha Caldwell NLT 3 October 2018 NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary and will not be returned. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred or associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. 1. Purpose: The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 561710 Exterminating and Pest Control Services with a corresponding size standard of $11,000,000. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 2. Program Details: 1. This Sources Sought Synopsis is published for market research purposes only, to identify potential sources capable of providing services for all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and services required for pest control. This includes animal carcass removal, and mechanical rodent control cleaning methods such as sweeping and vacuuming spider cobwebs in shelters, test cells, production/storage facilities, tunnels, and administrative areas. The areas that the Contractor will service are areas that are not part of the Government Civil Engineering (CE) Office's Charter to service/maintain. All work will be accomplished for 309 Missile Maintenance Group (309 MMXG) buildings, shelters and tunnels listed in Appendix D located at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), Utah (UT) and at the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) located approximately 100 miles West of HAFB. See attached Draft Performance Work Statement for more requirements details. Total Square Feet has been updated on each CLIN to account for total required area. POC's should include individual(s) who is(are) duly authorized in managing any/all technical issues and/or questions, and individual(s) who is(are) authorized in managing any/all contractual issues and/or questions. 6) Business size (i.e. small business, large business) 7) Provide a brief description, no more than 12 pages in total, of your company's past experience on previous projects similar in complexity to this requirement to include: a) Describe your company's capabilities and experience in rodent pest control services as indicated in the PWS. Please provide your input on the attached PWS (was the PWS clearly understood). Do you have recommendations on verbiage that should be added or changed to the PWS to improve the clarity of services? b) Explain your specific experience in rodent pest control services. c) Are there specific requirements in the documentation that we provide that would currently preclude your services from being a viable solution to our requirement? d) Describe your company's past experience in the ability to limit disruption to normal everyday production activities while still completing rodent pest control services. e) Discuss any techniques your company uses to remove all pest excrement, debris and nesting material and any other bird debris. f) Discuss any techniques your company uses to remove all pest excrement, debris and nesting material and any other bird debris. What methods do you use to prevent damage to Government equipment, facility, or assets? 8) If there any questions that should be asked with regards to the requirement please feel free to provide them as well.
