Description
NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. This is a market survey for a multiple year Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm fixed prices for Initial and Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training for Gulfstream G650 using a full flight simulator. The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. This is not a Screening Information Request or request of proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is surveying to find capable contractors able to provide the Initial and Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training for Gulfstream G650 aircraft in accordance with attached Performance Work Statement. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with FlightSaftey International, Flushing, NY 11371. FlightSafety International has the only FAA approved training program for this aircraft within the continental United States (US). The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 611512 Flight Training, with a size standard of $27.5 million. The contractor is to provide Gulfstream G650 initial/recurrent ground school and flight training to FAA Flight Standards Operation Inspectors and Aircraft Certification Pilots. The courses covered under this contract will meet the requirements for FAA formal flight training. FAA formal flight training consists of training courses with agency level course numbers that will be officially recorded in the employee s personnel records. The contractor shall provide the aircraft and/or full flight simulator, and training necessary to enable the FAA inspector/pilot to pass the practical test to Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) standards (PTS) for an unrestricted type rating on Gulfstream G650 in accordance with applicable (14 CFR) Part 61 requirements, the contractor s FAA-approved training program and the terms and conditions provided within the Performance Work Statement. The purpose of this survey is to solicit statements of interest and capability statements from all businesses that are interested in and capable of providing the Gulfstream G650 Pilot Qualification Training. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor s expense. All responses to this market survey must be received by 5:00 p.m. CST, 10/12/2017. All submittals should be submitted by email to Federal Aviation Administration sherrie.files@faa.gov. Please include MARKET SURVEY RESPONSE: Gulfstream G650 Pilot Training in the subject line of your email.
