- Amendment 0003 ITEM: RECOIL MECHANISM (Gun, Automatic, 25MM, M242) NSN: 1005-01-454-8489 P/N: 12524530 QTY: 2783 EA OPTION: None FOB: Destination, Packaging: M/B THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. ONLY OFFERS FROM SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS WILL BE CONSIDERED. It is anticipated the solicitation will be available on or about May 17, 2018 but no later than May 30, 2018. Please note these dates are subject to change. The actual offer "Due Date" will be stated in the solicitation. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and all other documents from the FBO website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. THE SOLICITATION WILL CONTAIN INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO OBTAIN THE DRAWINGS. An award of a firm-fixed price supply type contract is anticipated. The solicitation will contain DLAD provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction, which allows for the use of a reverse auction as a pricing technique. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system in order to participate in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction. Registration, on-line training, and other information regarding the reverse auction can be found at https://dla.procurexinc.com. Any questions related to the reverse auction system or process can be directed to dla.detroit.tacom.mbx.land-wrn-reverse-auction@mail.mil Contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of a contract. Contractors shall ensure SAM registration is active. The official SAM website is https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
