- Request For Information Request For Information: Pursuant to its obligations to the United States Government (represented by the Department of Energy under Contract No. DE-AC02-07CH11359), Fermi Research Alliance, LLC, herein after referred to as "FRA", is issuing this Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information (RFI) for Site-Wide Unarmed Security Guard Services in accordance with all attachments contained within the RFI document. FRA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. FRA, under the Office of Environmental Safety Health and Quality (ESH&Q), is currently in the acquisition planning stage for Unarmed Security Guard and Patrol Services at the Fermilab Site. This RFI is a market research tool to acquire technical and other market related information related to the Security Guards and Patrol Services industry for planning purposes. The purpose of the RFI is to determine sourcing and market capabilities to facilitate planning and decision making for future action. To facilitate this process, FRA is looking to identify qualified sources under the 8(a) Business Development Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561612 "Security Guard and Patrol Services" with an associated size standard of $20.5M. The responses to this RFI will be used by FRA to gain knowledge of the Security Guards and Patrol Services industry, identify interested and capable sources, and develop an acquisition strategy. Work Summary: The subcontractor shall furnish all management, supervision, personnel, material, supplies, transportation, and equipment necessary and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective performance of all services necessary to provide Site-Wide Unarmed Security Guard Services at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory located in Batavia, Illinois. In addition to the daily guard post tasks, guard services may include temporary additional and special additional services. The Draft Statement of Work anticipates a 12-month Base Period and four Option Periods. Please review the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW) and Exhibits for detailed requirements. Interested & Capable Responses: Fermi Research Alliance is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in a potential future procurement and consider themselves to have the knowledge, skills and capability to perform the work concerning the potential project described above.
