Title of Event: Try, Decide, Buy (TDB) - SAFE Symposium Session Audience: Members of the DoD and Industry Representatives When: Oct. 16, 2018, 1000-1200, AND 1400-1600 Oct. 17, 2018, 1000-1200 Where: The Whitney Room at The Grand Sierra Resort 2500 East 2nd Street, Reno, NV 89595 Abstract: The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Human Systems Program Office (WNU) is looking to identify suppliers with the capability to coordinate and deliver various Commercial-Off-The- Shelf (COTS) and/or minor modified COTS Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) on a MAC IDIQ supply contract. These items may include but not limited to: Aircrew Flight Clothing & Textiles, Uniforms, Cold Weather Clothing Systems, Visual Augmentation Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, Helmets, Body Armor, Tactical Carriers, Individual Equipment, Lighting, Survival Equipment, Aircrew Support Equipment, Communication Equipment, Tactical Equipment, Load Bearing Equipment, Lethality Support Items, Boots, Gloves, Eye Protection, Egress Equipment, Aerial Insertion Equipment, Search & Rescue Equipment, Personnel Recovery Equipment, Medical Equipment, Power Management, Hydration, Electronics Test Equipment, Physiological Relief Equipment, Ejection Seats and Ancillary Services. This effort shall include all coordination, management and technical support, quality assurance, planning, shipping and logistical support for each requirement. The USAF anticipates small to large purchases to try, decide and buy. The NAICS code for this action are 315990, 333314, 339113, 315280, 314999, 315210, 326199, 334220, 336413, 326299, 316998, 332215. Who should attend? Vendors/Contractors who are interested and have experience with being suppliers of various AFE items. Goals: •To ensure synergy between DoD and Industry representatives •Incorporate Industry comments into the Request for Proposal documents •Communicate the Try, Decide, Buy program and requirements •Procurement requirements •Gain a better understanding of recent and relevant Industry experience Questions: •What discriminators would be advantageous to include in a self-scoring evaluation? Please reference the list below and provide any additional elements and input to Lt. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government will not reimburse or pay for any information submitted, administrative costs, or travel in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. •Not responding to this notice will not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Small businesses are encouraged to provide responses to this notice in order to assist AFLCMC in determining potential levels of competition available in the industry, as well as helping to establish a basis for developing any subsequent subcontract plan goal percentages. The acquisition strategy is still being determined. Market research results will assist the USAF in determining whether this requirement will be a full and open, a small business set aside, or a sole source acquisition. Points of Contact: Lt.
