Description

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This is a full and open Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, quotation abstracts, or quotations. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation or commitment by the Government, nor is it a Request for Quote (RFQ) at this time. It is the intent of the Department of Veterans Affairs, (herein afterwards referred to as Wilkes-Barre Veterans Administration Health Care System) to establish a fixed price contract for Immunoassay instrumentation and reagents that will last 5 years and consist of 1 base year with (4) 1-year Option Periods. The vendor would provide placement of (2) immunoassay analyzers that could perform both BRAHMS PCT testing and Lyme IgG and Lyme IgM testing. The analyzers are countertop analyzers meeting the footprint of the laboratory. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, maintenance, material, regents, consumables, tools, supervision, operators/ service manuals, training, parts and installation (if required) and accessories necessary to furnish the equipment and perform the testing. The instruments shall be a proven enzyme-linked fluorescent assay (ELFA) technology for high quality on-demand test results. Included are extended service and diagnostic software for use with the Vidas 3 for the performance of the testing. Hotline service as well as on-site service and preventative maintenance service are included at no additional cost. No additional cost shall be incurred for parts replacement. ESTIMATED USAGE: DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES UNIT OF ISSUE QTY FREQUENCY BRAHMS PCT Reagent 60 tests per box BX 48 4 boxes per month on the second Wednesday of every month All responses should include the following; FSS contract number if applicable, socioeconomic category, technical/capability information, ability to meet VA requirements, and existing customers. The NAICS Code for the expected acquisition is 334516, with a Size Standard of 1,000 and the PSC Code is Q301. Interested sources may submit a 1 or 2-page capability statement with enough detail for the Government to make an informed decision regarding such capability. The statement should identify supplier s name, address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses and business type and size. Any pertinent FSS Schedule numbers with expiration date should also be provided. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that the response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization s qualifications to deliver the supplies. Respondents are also advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information or provide feedback about any of the information received. After review of the responses received, the Government may issue a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in GSA e-Buy or FedBizOps.Gov. No proprietary, sensitive, confidential or classified information shall be included with your response.
