Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Getinge USA Sales, LLC, 45 Barbour Pond Dr, Wayne, NJ, 07470. The period of performance is November 1, 2018 through October 31, 2019 with a provision of four (4) option years. This requirement is to provide all necessary preventative maintenance and support services on fourteen (14) Maquet ventilators located at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, New York 13210-2716. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by Oct 31, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Richard.Amodeo@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
