Description
This requirement is for a firm-fixed price Requirements Contract with 3-1 year Options for NOUN Ground Handling Trailer, Aircraft Engine; NSN:1740-01-525-1884; Part Number TT90-F-507. The Basic is for a BEQ Qty of 26 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). Option I BEQ Qty 20 ea, Option II BEQ Qty 18 ea, and Option III BEQ Qty 18 ea. This trailer is required to transport the engine-mounted cradle following removal or prior to installation with the engine lift trailer (ELT). This trailer is required to incorporate I-beam rails identical to those on the ELT to interface with the rollers on the engine cradle. The engine-mounted cradle will be roll transferred between the ELT and the means at a rail height of 57". For the roll transfer procedure, transition rails (part of the ELT) are used to bridge the gap between the ELT and the ground handling trailer. This requirement will be a set-aside for Small Business. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ. We anticipated release of the RFQ on or around 08 November 2018 with an estimated response date of 04 January 2019. The RFQ and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/).
