- Description
- Amendment #1 W25G1R8162007X Questions & Answers MFOM Log Book Covers The purpose of this amendment is to post Questions & Answers. The response date for quotes remains unchanged. Quotes are due no later than 10:00 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time on 07 November 2018. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged Question #1: Are these to be "ring" binders? Answer #1: No. Question #2: The temperate range shows Celsius, but I suspect it's Fahrenheit. While -20 degrees Celsius is -4 Fahrenheit (which is sensible), 120 degrees Celsius is a 248 degrees Fahrenheit, much higher than boiling point of water. Can you verify that's indeed Fahrenheit? Answer #2: Fahrenheit is the correct measurement. Question #3: With regards to the material for the log book cover, is an alternative to silk screening acceptable? There are other methods that meet the requirements and are cost effective (vs silk screening). Answer #3: Yes, but you cannot use stickers or letters glued on to a back ground. This must be ink to the sheet application. No outside adhesion or materials can be used. Question #4: Is the last awarded price available? Answer #4: No. Question #5: For the thickness, please advise if it is.010 inch thickness or.010 mil thickness? Answer #5: It is.010 mil because the log book cover is a single page made of a plastic like or PVC material. Question #6: Is this a one time delivery order? Answer #6: Yes, this is a one-time buy. Question #7: Can we submit a quotation to you via email? Answer #7: Yes, you can email your quote to the specialist and email listed in the RFQ. Question #8: Does the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation posted as solicitation number W25G1R8162007X on FBO contain requirements similar to an existing contract or will this be a new requirement? Answer #8: This is a new requirement.
