Synopsis: NOTE: This is a sources sought requesting information in support of the following potential requirement. NO CONTRACT will be awarded from this announcement. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. All portions of this market survey are merely for market research purposes and subject to change at any time. Response to this survey is voluntary and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey. Data submitted in response to this market survey will not be returned. POTENTIAL REQUIREMENT Noun: Refrigerated Truck 4x2 Steering Drive: Left-Hand Drive Quantity: One (1) Payload: 5-7 Tons Transmission: Manual Other Requirements: Insulated, refrigerated box. Size approximately: L - 181 inches (4.6 m), W - 102 inches (2.58) m, H - 108 inches (2.75 m). Able to maintain box temperatures ranging from 35 - 73⁰F (2 to 23⁰C). Equipped with a Temp Data Log Device to keep track of temperature fluctuations of refrigeration temps. The vehicle shall be capable of operating long term on ultra-high sulfur (10,000 ppm or 1%) diesel fuel. Vehicle will be used 100% on-road, and no off-road service required. The vehicle will be operated in a hot, dry, desert environment: 120⁰F+ (49⁰C+). Vehicle manuals in English and Arabic. Intended mission of vehicle is to transport vaccines and medical drugs at refrigerated temperatures in a hot, desert environment. Army Contracting Command - Warren is conducting market research to determine industry's capability to provide 1 each Refrigerated Truck 4x2. There is no TDP available for purposes of this market survey. Interested vendors should provide all the following information: 1.
