- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) DoDEA Student Transportation Security Services Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Procurement Office, in support of the DoDEA-Europe Student Transportation Security Services Program (STSSP), is conducting market research to identify potential responsible sources capable of providing bus security attendant services on daily commute school buses in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for conducting market research and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), and does not obligate the Government to any current or future commitments. The Government will not pay/reimburse any costs or charges resulting from contractors' responses to this RFI. The STSSP's requirement includes furnishing all personnel, supplies, materials, equipment, direction, and supervision of day-to-day operations; active quality control supervision; preparing and delivering security training; and preparing and submitting required reports. The period of performance of these services will include a base period and four 12-month option periods, with an anticipated start date of 1 July 2019. If your firm is interested, capable, and qualified to provide these services in one or more of these geographic locations, please submit written information supporting this capability and identify what geographic location your firm would be interested in. It is the company's responsibility to clearly demonstrate in their capability statement that it is operating within the security industry. The capability statement shall consist of no more than 5 pages and include a cover page with the company's name, business mailing address, point of contact, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), and Commercial And Government Entity/NATO Code (CAGE/NCAGE). Submissions and inquiries must be sent electronically to Mr. John Butts at the email address, John.Butts@hq.dodea.edu, not later than 04:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 30 November 2018. Vendor's e-mail message shall state "HE1254-19-R-STSSP" in the subject line. Telephone calls regarding this RFI will not be accepted. This acquisition will be conducted using Full and Open Competition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561612- Security Guards and Patrol Services and the applicable small business size standard is $20.5M. Please note, while proposals from vendors not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database will be evaluated, only businesses with an Active SAM registration will be eligible to receive contracts with the Department of Defense Education Activity.
