- DLA Land and Maritime is preparing to solicit and award a one-time Firm-Fixed Price contract utilizing Other Than Full and Open Competition citing under FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) for a single NSN 4520-01-631-3780 QTY 8 ea. The approved source is Highland Engineering, Inc. (0AK83) Part Number 701-616200 Water Heater, Liquid, Fuel. The item is managed by The United States Marine Corp. (USMC), specifically LOGCOM (Logistics Command) with the technical information being managed by SYSCOM (System Command). This item has been identified as Depot Level Repairable (DLR). The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted procurement, as there is only one approved manufacturer as the source, who is, Highland Engineering, Inc. (0AK83).Based on market research these items are not commercial and will be solicited using FAR Part 15. FOB Origin and Inspection Acceptance at destination is required.
