SOURCES SOUGHT DISCLAIMER This Sources Sought is issued solely for the purpose identifying potential sources for a future requirement and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought notice. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI/Sources Sought Notice is part of a Government market research effort to determine the scope of industry capabilities and interest, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.201(e), response to this RFI/Sources Sought Notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The purpose of this RFI/Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) relative to NAICS 621512, Diagnostic Imaging Centers (size standard of $15.0 Million). Responses to this RFI/Sources Sought Notice are strictly voluntary and are considered as information only. The Government will not pay respondents for information provided in response to this RFI/Sources Sought Notice. Responses to this RFI/Sources Sought Notice will not be returned and respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities Website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from any response to this announcement. This RFI/Sources Sought Notice does not restrict the Government's acquisition on a future solicitation. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the FedBizOpps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the anticipated solicitation announcement. GENERAL SERVICES REQUIRED Purpose: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, is seeking Radiologists to provide Tele-Radiology Services. The Contractor shall provide Tele-Radiology Services, for the Veterans Health Care System (Imaging Service) in Dallas, Texas as needed basis, in accordance with pricing, specifications, terms and conditions of any resulting contract. Potential sources shall provide all space, supplies, equipment, and labor to include Board Certified Radiologists necessary to provide remote professional Radiology (Tele-Radiology) services. Contractor shall provide final interpretations of emergent/urgent diagnostic radiologic examinations (general radiology, CT, US, MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine) during evening/overnight hours (1600-0800 daily), weekend daytime hours (0800-1600 Saturday and Sunday), and daytime National Holiday hours (0800-1600). In the event of VAMC internal radiologist staffing shortages or other occurrences affecting productivity, the contractor will provide final interpretations of non-emergent/urgent diagnostic radiologic examinations performed at any time, as determined by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Is your firm a woman owned or operated business? or Veteran Owned Small Business? The Contractor would be required to provide final reports of imaging examinations signed electronically. This is an essential, time-sensitive service in the treatment of patients. This would include, but is not limited to the following modalities: Interpretation of General X-Ray Interpretation of Ultrasound images Interpretation of Magnetic Resonance Interpretation of Computed Tomography Interpretation of Nuclear Medicine Studies CT Abdomen & Pelvis CT Cardiac CTA General (Head, Neck, Body) CTA Cardiac CTA Abdomen & Pelvis CTA Runoffs Interpretation of CT Angiography/Coronary Studies Cardiac/Coronary Computed Tomography Angiogram Interpretation of Mammography Screening Bilateral Telephone, mail or fax responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than November 1, 2018 at 4:30 PM (CST). This notice is to assist the Department of Veterans Affairs VA in the determination of sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective vendor list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
