Description

The Alexandria VA Health Care System located in Pineville, Louisiana has a requirement for engineering support to include civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers to assist with new and/or ongoing construction projects at the Pineville and associated community based outpatient clinic locations. The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to perform a variety of construction engineering support activities such as A&E reviews, project management, project estimating, construction inspection, and other associated activities. Work shall be performed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, VA policies and procedures, the resultant contract, and all attachments thereto. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under NAICS code 541330, with a small business size standard of $15M. All interested parties must be registered as a SDVOSB in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov as well as the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at www.vetbiz.gov prior to receiving an award. This a Pre-Solicitation Notice only. This is not a request for pricing at this time. All interested parties should monitor this website for issuance of the actual solicitation on or about November 7, 2018, to download the associated solicitation documents, and specific instructions and requirements for submitting a quote. The posting of the actual solicitation documents shall be by amendment to this announcement.
