Description
SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: The Regional Health Contracting Office – Europe is seeking sources for an Endoscope Reprocessing system, With Pass-thru system and an Endoscope Reprocessing system, Without Pass-thru system. This is a request for information only. This Notice is a request by the Government to collect information from Companies for Market Research purposes. This request for Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or material. No contract award will be made as a result of this sources sought synopsis. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339113. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a statement of current capability. Sources should demonstrate relevant experience, addressing the requirements specified in this synopsis, and demonstrate the ability to obtain the resources necessary to successfully compete for this requirement. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide the following information, to the maximum extent possible: 1) Contractor name, point of contact, email address, telephone, DUNS number (if available) 2) Offeror's capability to meet this requirement and any pertinent information which demonstrates the company's ability to meet the requirements below: With Pass-thru system - Be able to clean, flush, and High-Level Disinfect Endoscopes and Instrumentation - High-level disinfectant effectively kills CRE - Reduced reprocessing time cycle - Use liquid chemical sterilization using low temperature, liquid immersion to safely and effectively reprocess heat-sensitive, semi-critical medical devices - Compatible with all flexible endoscopes especially. - The system must be able to clean and disinfect two or more scopes at once - Guarantees proper facility hookup connection - Automated Monitoring for endoscope channels for blockage and leaks - Ensures all channels are fully reprocessed - Hands-free lid operation for ease of use and to decrease endoscope cross-contamination risk - Manufacturer trained technician for on-site service and a follow-up training after familiarization with the unit, plus a minimum of 3 customer service visits per year - Must be able to be end user friendly and have a system that is easily used to input and output data. - FDA approved - Computerized cycle documentation and reporting - Pass-thru system between clean and dirty reprocessing areas to reduce risks of recontamination Without Pass-thru system: - Be able to clean, flush, and High-Level Disinfect Endoscopes and Instrumentation - High-level disinfectant effectively kills CRE - Reduced reprocessing time cycle - Use liquid chemical sterilization using low temperature, liquid immersion to safely and effectively reprocess heat-sensitive, semi-critical medical devices - Compatible with all flexible endoscopes especially. - The system must be able to clean and disinfect two or more scopes at once - Guarantees proper facility hookup connection - Automated Monitoring for endoscope channels for blockage and leaks - Ensures all channels are fully reprocessed - Hands-free lid operation for ease of use and to decrease endoscope cross-contamination risk - Manufacturer trained technician for on-site service and a follow-up training after familiarization with the unit, plus a minimum of 3 customer service visits per year - Must be able to be end user friendly and have a system that is easily used to input and output data. - FDA approved - Computerized cycle documentation and reporting All information submitted is at the offeror's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of capability statements in connection with this market survey. Respondents will not be contacted regarding their submission of information or information gathered as a result of this notice. Any information provided is voluntary. All interested sources may submit a response via email to Mr. Shane Knight, Contract Specialist at gregory.s.knight.civ@mail.mil and are due no later than 12 November 2018 at 4:00 PM, Central European Time. No telephone calls will be accepted.
