This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this sources sought must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned small Business, Veteran-owned small business and (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS Tuscon, AZ); 3601 S 6th Ave, Tucson AZ 85723 requires a service agreement to provide SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor For Medical Devices. At this time, we are seeking SDVOSBs and VOSBs only Scope. a. Provide SAVAHCS Biomedical Engineering with: SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor software (up to 150 monitors) Applicable license, First year of maintenance. b. Contractor should have capacity to provide four additional years of annual maintenance renewal for a total period of five years. c. Hardware will be provided by SAVAHCS. Biomedical Engineering is responsible for all networked medical devices in the main campus and all seven CBOCs. We currently maintain ninety different VLANs (Virtual LANS) and 1,049 medical devices spread out among all eight locations. The Biomedical Engineering Electronics section also maintains approximately ten VLANs containing all of the security systems (PIV badge scanners, security cameras, video recorders, etc.) as well as numerous medical support devices such as Rees TempTrac, Noah, Rotem, and Patient boundary alerts. At present time we have no way to monitor the devices/servers or any major pieces of medical equipment and are only notified when something fails and we are contacted by the device owner/users after the fact. SolarWinds SAM software will allow us set up a server and send out SNMP monitors to 150 servers/major components (upgradable to 700 or more if needed) and constantly monitor the health and status of every device with a monitor and the clinical applications installed on it. The SolarWinds SAM software also has the ability to send email notifications to individuals or groups if an issue arises.
