Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award an interim contract for Home Oxygen Services to SS Medical, Inc. This contract will cover a three-month period from November 2, 2018 through January 31, 2019 (the last possible ordering date for this contract is July 31, 2019 should the option to extend services under FAR 52.217-8 be exercised). This interim contract is necessary to continue critical services for patient care while a protest of Contract 36C265-18-D-0127 is resolved. The sole source J&A is attached to this notice as required by FAR part 6. The POC for this notice is Ricky C. Weaver, Contracting Officer.
