- Market Survey word document Sources Sought Notice: DLA Land and Maritime is preparing to solicit an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) for NSN 3040-01-437-5637, Connecting Link, Rigid. The approved source is listed below. The RFP will be issued using FAR Part 15 procedures. Approved Source: 07482 GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY DBA GE 9938M48G06 58828 CFM INTERNATIONAL, INC. 9938M48G06 65141 U.S. AEROTEAM, INC. 9938M48G06 085X4 TURBINE KINETICS, INC. 9938M48G06 AMC 1 - Suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time. AMSC C- This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. Sources interested in becoming an approved source for this NSN must submit the appropriate information; see DLA Procurement Note L04 and M06. The Engineering Support Activity (ESA) has the final approval authority. Should a company wish to submit an Alternate Offer, they may submit an application package through the DLA Land and Maritime Alternate Offer / Source Approval Request (SAR) Program.
