- DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, necessary to design and address electrical deficiencies at Lake Baldwin, Orlando Veterans Affairs (VA medical Center in accordance with the solicitation, Statement of Work (SOW), and specifications. This project will install a new public-address paging system throughout building 500. Additionally, the transformer feeding the warehouse, building 501 will be replaced. Various electrical panels throughout the facility will be replaced as identified in the specific project requirements. Project No./Title: 675-19-601 / Design-Build Address Electrical Deficiencies at Lake Baldwin Work Location: Lake Baldwin Out Patient Clinic, 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, FL 32803 Estimated Target Completion Period: 290 calendars days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. NAICS 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. Size Standard is $15 Million. Product Service Code Y1DZ This is a design-build project/solicitation that will use the trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 20, 2018. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov At the time of proposal submission, contractors must have current registration/certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.SAM.GOV and VetBiz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications.
