Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Omnicell, Inc. to provide monthly preventive maintenance and repairs to the Omnicell system equipment at Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL. This contract will be for a one year period, with four one year options to extend services. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The contract will be firm fixed price and the NAICS code is 339112. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products, services and capabilities as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services to maintain Omnicell equipment, to the contracting officer NLT 11:00AM EST, 9 November 2018. Supporting evidence must be submitted in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements and attached Statement of Work, to include access to OEM parts for repairs. Responses received will be evaluated; however a determination by the Government to not compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Omnicell, Inc. STATEMENT OF WORK Background: This GOLD service contract is to provide maintenance/support on our Omnicell system throughout Hines VAH. Scope: Provide maintenance/support, including labor, 24 hours, 7 days a week remote/phone/on-site support. Tasks or Requirements: Provide 24 hours, 7 days a week phone/remote/on-site support as required for Omnicell system equipment listed in the Schedule. Deliverables or Delivery Schedule Telephone Support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Engineer Live Coverage: Monday Friday: 24 hours; Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: 6AM 6PM CST On-call Support: Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: 6AM 6PM CST Response Times (Maximum): 30 minutes: Monday Friday 6AM 6PM CST 2 hours: Monday Friday 6PM 6AM CST and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays Remote Software and Interface Diagnostics: Included The vendor will use VA VPN to log into our server.   The vendor will then remote desktop connects to the server via the IP address. The vendor is able to use the server for troubleshooting, maintenance, and providing support.
